Stress, hormones, inflammation, poor detoxification and sleep can hinder weight loss. All these factors contribute to fatigue, leading to poor food choices for that quick energy boost, becoming a vicious cycle.

I will tailor a weight loss plan designed for you that incorporates treating the body as a whole rather than just focusing on kilojoules and exercise. We will identify and rectify the underlying driver, review your eating habits and make changes, redesign your pantry, so you make better food choices, and establish an attainable meal plan for permanent weight loss.

I will guide and empower you over several weeks with regular appointments, discussing different weight loss strategies to incorporate into your everyday life for permanent weight loss.

HOLISTIC WEIGHT LOSS

  • My approach is gentle, encouraging and supportive as I guide and help you create new eating and lifestyle habits for weight loss. I don’t believe in restrictive eating or kilojoule counting, preferring to use whole foods and lifestyle changes. The program includes four appointments over eight weeks, with fortnightly face-to-face or zoom meetings to help you stay motivated and supported to meet your weight loss goal.

    First session 1hr - Let’s Get Going.

    After a comprehensive diet review, you will receive a modified eating plan with a swap list for current meals.

    Second session 1hr - Nutrition Foundations.

    Discussion and review of modified eating plan. The focus of this session is understanding portion sizes, reading and understanding food labels, and identifying and understanding barriers, habits, and cravings. Handouts provided.

    Third session 45min - Make it Happen.

    Discussion and review of eating plan. The focus of this session is what to include and exclude from your pantry, supermarket shopping tips, eating out tips, and managing temptations. Handouts provided.

    Fourth session 45min Lifestyle.

    Progress review with an in-depth look at lifestyle factors such as sleep, stress and exercise and their role in permanent weight loss.

    In this workshop, I will lead and assist you in exploring the cycle of weight gain and how you can break the cycle by identifying the factors affecting your weight loss.

    The workshop is in 4 parts:

    4. Goal setting
